14 But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me,
And my Lord has forgotten me."
15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

"Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today,

7 "Remember! Do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that you departed from the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord. 8 Also in Horeb you provoked the Lord to wrath, so that the Lord was angry enough with you to have destroyed you.

That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments;

So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

For I have become like a wineskin in smoke, Yet I do not forget Your statutes.

I am shriveled like a wineskin in the smoke, but I have not forgotten to obey your decrees.

My life is continually in my hand, Yet I do not forget Your law.

I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts.

Consider my affliction and deliver me, For I do not forget Your law.

13 And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?  14 The sower sows the word.  15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.  16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;  17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble.  18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.  20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred." 21 Also He said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?  22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.  23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear." 24 Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.  25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

3 Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

"For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off.

"See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
